How Many Apps

Posted on 12th September, 2023

Gone are the days of having to log into your account in a web browser to hookup, because for the last few years, particularly since the covid lockdowns, your hookup companion has been your phone.  Never has it been so easy to find a quick fuck and go with results being literally at times a few feet away. I bet now if you opened one of the many apps such Grindr, Scruff, U4Bear, Recon, Hornet, Gaydar only to mention but a few then the amount of men at your fingertips is going to be limitless. Everything is on offer from a simple turn up and wank, drop your pants and let’s fuck, on your knees and suck my cock to let's try something a little more kinky.

But how many of these apps do we actually need?  Since we have all been at home in lockdown, how many apps have surfaced to get you to hook up without actually physically meeting? They all tout that they can find you what you are looking for but how many of them actually fulfil their claims?

For me I limit myself to only a few of these apps and my pick ups are specific to each app. I use one for a quick off the cuff fuck or to see who is about at my local cruising ground, you tend to find the guys waiting in their cars are logged into this app.

There is another app very similar but because of its name it lends itself to a more specific guy and because I fit into that category I am finding I get a pretty good hit rate and I tend to only need to be on this app for a short while before I am being propositioned for some fun.

Some have developed in such a way to allow you to leave feedback from all kinds of meets, either from your latest hookups to your past hookups, from web-wanks to something more physical.

It has become a useful tool to not only verify you are a sure thing but also a great way for other guys to know what they are getting before they get it so to speak, the ‘Tripadvisor' of sex.

Now we come to the finite of apps in this list and this covers those apps that have fetish and kink at its forefront and so means you probably will not end up picking up a guy straight away.

These apps have more to offer than meets the eye and every conceivable fetish you can think of is catered for.

There is a downside to this is the app has restrictions but not through a fault of its own but more down to the App Store meaning that sexually explicit content can only be viewed on its website, kind of defeats the point of having an app, I guess gives you a taster of what’s on offer.

So what has this post been all about?

Simply put, is it not about time that we start to ditch those apps that lead you on, making you think you are going to get a piece of the action when in reality they offer no guys in your area and an app that simply doesn't do the job.

Looks like my phone is about to get a whole lot more space allocated for other things.
